                 The monthly meeting of both the Union has been conducted by the SPOs Haveri Division, Haveri on the request of the Union on 15.07.2011. The meeting was going on smoothly for a period of half an hour. The SPOs Shri M Shivaraj has been answering that he will conduct the meetings as per his will and wish. He was using improper words in the meeting to the Union Representatives and has not answering in a suitable manner. He was acting purely adomantly and he is not at all ready to conduct the meeting smoothly. The SPOs reluctant towards the staff welfare and insulting the Service Association who attended the meeting in unparlimentary words. This nature of SPOs can not be tolerated. Hence, the meeting was boycotted and whole staff of Haveri HO firmly protested this un democratic nature of adomant Supdt of Posts, Haveri Division, Haveri. The whole Haveri Division staff came out from their respective offices to protest the adomant nature of the SPOs.


           Hence the matter is hereby brought to the kind notice of Honble.CPMG and requested to provide Trade Union Facilities by all Union Members of AIPEU AND NUPE, Haveri Division.


            After two hours protest infront of the Head Post Office, Haveri the SPOs came over to the staff and apologized for his behaviour infront of the media (TV9, Udaya, E TV etc.). Then the staff of Haveri HO came inside the office and continued working.


            However, hereby it has to be made clear that the action from the staff of Haveri HO is not pre-meditated but forced by the atrocities by the SPOs, to name a few denying leave even on medical ground, denying ML/CCLs, using improper words to the staff, saying the whole staff is incompetent, issuing charge sheets and ordering punishments at his will and wish..........
